Sollers Data Science Faculty Member Appointed to Academic Editorial Boards

We are pleased to announce that Pankaj Sharma, a core member of our data science faculty, has been appointed to the editorial boards of two of the most prestigious academic journals/platforms in the domain of data science, The International Journal of Data Science, and CODATA (Committee on Data of the International Council for Science (ICSU), Data Science Journal Scope.

Pankaj’s role as part of the editorial team of the International Journal of Data Science, will include contributions towards the academic and policy work of researchers from across the globe on the topics of data science, big data and to those aiming at the cross section of pure sciences and data sciences.

CODATA is a special focus committee of The International Council for Science (ICSU). The ICSU is a non-governmental organization with a global membership of national scientific bodies (122 members, representing 142 countries) and international scientific unions (30 members).

Pankaj is a data scientist and management consultant with a career spanning almost 20 years. He has consulted with and advised marquee brands like JP Morgan Chase, Procter and Gamble, Harley Davidson, The Government of India and the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is also an alumnus of the prestigious International Visitors Leadership Program of the US State Department.
